The plan was to nip quickly into the shop just at the gate of the flat I lived in on Rathmines Rd to get rashers for a Sunday morning fry-up/cure. We all went in there regularly in an unwashed/half dressed state. However they were closed. So I thought I'd just nip on up to the supermarket, completely forgetting what I was wearing until I was queuing at the checkout. I decided to just brazen it out and gave anyone who looked at me funny a "what the hell are you looking at" stare. I once went to the supermarket in my pajamas.
