PatPhelan.net

A simple blog redesign and re-launch at a new domain for Irish telecoms superstar Pat Phelan at PatPhelan.net. (I’m allowed to call him a superstar because not only is he one, he’s one of my favourite clients. Ever.) This site features a customised WordPress template and header. Clean, simple, and nicely grided with a prioritised sidebar.

Very nice redesign! I love the header graphic, the text is very readable, and I like the frame around the photos. Can you say what font you use for the content text or is it a state secret?

The only (very) slight negative is that the black bar along the top looks a bit sparse but it’s probably deliberate.

I said it here previously but you should think about selling your blog themes!

Thanks Sabrina, I am thrilled with the result, numerous compliments have been flooding my way since the re brand.
I would highly recommend anyone thinking about a blog or a redesign contact you.

isadub, it’s { Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif } so: if you don’t have Arial installed, it’s Helvetica; if you don’t have Helvetica, it’s whatever your systems’s default sans-serif font is. The titles are Georgia.

Sometimes I work with custom themes and sometimes I work from other people’s paid or free templates but really, every template that comes off the production line here is created, chosen or hacked for a specific client’s needs. I don’t think I’d be any good at “just make a template” flogging.
